- Promotion Period: The Knorr Plizza Giveaway (the “Promotion”) begins at 11:00 a.m. Central Time (“ET”) on February 19, 2022 & 3:00 p.m. CT on February 19, 2022, or whenever 375 Plizzas (as defined below) have been claimed (as outlined below), whichever occurs first (“Promotion Period”).
- Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older, who are in Chicago, IL within the delivery limits of Dempster St. to Fullerton Ave. & Mannheim Rd to The Lake during the Promotion Period. Employees of Conopco, Inc., d/b/a Unilever (“Sponsor”), Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (“Administrator”), their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors and advertising, marketing, public relations, promotional and judging agencies (collectively, the “Sponsor, Administrator and the Related Parties”), and its affiliates and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, assigns and agents and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited by law. Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
- How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, visit https://easystreetpizzachicago.com/order-online/ (“Site”) and click on the “Knorr Plizza” tab. Then, order a Planet-Friendlier Pizza (“Knorr Plizza”) and type in the code “KnorrPlizza” at checkout (“order”). If you are one of the first 375 registrants to order a Plizza, you will receive a free Plizza (including the Plizza and delivery). Limit one (1) order per person. Normal Internet access, phone/usage charges imposed by your on-line/phone service will apply. All orders become property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. All eligible orders must be received by 3:00 p.m. CT on February 19, 2022.
- Winner Determination: The first 375 eligible registrants who complete and submit all required entry information (each, an “winner”), as directed on the Site, will be eligible to receive a Plizza Prize, as detailed in Rule 5. Winner determination will be made by Sponsor, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to the Promotion. Odds of receiving a Plizza Prize depend on the time/date an eligible registrant completes order. All Plizza Prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible orders are received by the end of the Promotion Period.
- Plizza and Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”): Plizza Prizes (375): One (1) Plizza, delivered to the winner (includes Plizza and delivery) (ARV: $25 each). Limit one (1) Plizza per person. Plizza Prizes will be delivered only to addresses within the Chicago, IL metropolitan area (only within the delivery limits of Dempster St. to Fullerton Ave. & Mannheim Rd to The Lake) by the date/time specified or prize may be forfeited. Return of any Plizza as undeliverable will result in disqualification and forfeiture of Plizza.
- General Rules: No substitution or transfer of Plizza Prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute portions of the Plizza Prize of equal or greater value in the event any portion(s) are unavailable. By participating in the Promotion, registrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Any taxes payable on the Plizza Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner, if applicable. Sponsor, Administrator and the Related Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the orders in the Promotion. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the order process or the operation of the Promotion or Site; violates these official rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Orders generated by script or bot are not eligible. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other problems beyond the control of the Sponsor and award all Plizza Prizes from among all eligible orders received prior to cancellation. Registrant must have a valid e-mail address. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an order form, the order will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered. Sponsor, Administrator and the Related Parties and each of their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the Promotion or any Plizza Prize awarded. Sponsor makes no warranties with regard to any Plizza Prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in the Promotion or use or redemption of any Plizza Prize. Winners agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor from any liability arising out of participation in this Promotion or use of any Plizza Prize. Acceptance of any Plizza Prize constitutes permission to use winners’ names, likenesses and footage for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the Promotion materials or the offering or announcement of the Plizza Prizes.
- Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Promotion, the registrant agrees that Sponsor, Administrator and the Related Parties and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, retailers, advertising and Promotion agencies, and all of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees and assigns, members, representatives and agents (the “Released Parties”), will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by registrant for any liability for any bodily injury, loss, cost or damages of any kind to persons, including death and property, damages sustained due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from submission of order, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Plizza Prize or participation in the Promotion or participation in any Promotion or related activity. Registrants further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of order for the Promotion, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees. Registrants waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
- Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Venue: SPONSOR IS REGISTERED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES WITH HEADQUARTERS IN NEW JERSEY. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE & FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE PROMOTION AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SAME. EACH REGISTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND HEREBY IRREVOCABLY SUBMITS TO THE VENUE OF THOSE COURTS WITHIN NEW YORK.
